Earlier this month, Chugach Electric Association (CEA) mailed out letters to AtoA properties (but not necessarily property owners, more on that later), announcing a public meeting at 6pm on December 21st. The purpose of the meeting is for CEA to share the final project scope. Here’s the meeting location:

If you are interested in the project, whether or not your property will still be included, and/or the related construction impacts for summer of 2023, it would be great if AtoA property owners would attend this meeting.
While it’s great to get a project update from CEA, it’s a little disappointing that they scheduled the meeting four days before Christmas, when a sufficient number of folks are either traveling or simply busy preparing for the holiday.
Further, in mailing the meeting announcement letters only to the project properties, CEA has failed to inform the approximately 30 property owners who don’t live on their AtoA property.
