ArcticToAurora.org is a volunteer and grassroots effort created by myself, Mike, an AtoA property owner.

As there is no organized body to distribute project updates and information to every property owner (are you listening, CEA?) – and so no easy way for AtoA folks to stay on top of the project – I compiled the information and created this site. My purpose is to fill the void of communications to the AtoA community, and to share project-related info with property owners and residents. I’ve tried to stick to facts, and minimize my own opinions.

This site is NOT a publication of CEA or the NSCC, and was created independently and without any involvement from either.

Why did I bother? After 9 years of efforts towards this project, I…

• Was disappointed by the absence of a central repository of project information.
• Was frustrated by hearing from other property owners who were interested in the outcome but received minimal information – if any – about the project or their role.
• Realized how much time I spent individually contacting property owners to share acquired knowledge.

While I am supportive of this project, I’m most interested in sharing what I’ve learned with other AtoA property owners.
