On May 20th, Chugach Electric Association (CEA) mailed out letters announcing the rescheduling of AtoA construction from 2022 to 2023.

In the letter, CEA provided some other scheduling updates:

• CEA will hold an “update presentation” at 6pm on June 23rd, 2022, in CEA’s engineering building Bldg N-1, 1201 East First Avenue. The letter stated the location at “East Fist Avenue”, which apparently was a typo.
• CEA will accept easements from AtoA property owners through October 31, 2022.
• However, CEA will not “work towards design alternatives, until such times as easement requests have been approved”.

This last statement seems disappointing. As far as I’m aware, most instances of opposition to easements are due to CEA’s design.
